# Classic

> Keybinds, maps, and hunting for MapleStory Classic World.

Set **Settings → General → MapleStory Version** to **Classic**. Classic World uses hunting instead of routines, and keeps its own keybinds and maps.

## Keybinds

Your keybinds in MANIA need to match your in-game MapleStory keybinds.

### Movement

Set keybinds for your movement abilities. Travel distances are learned automatically.

### Buffs

Buffs are kept active automatically. This is enabled by default in **Settings → General → Auto Buff**. A buff without a cooldown will be skipped.

### Attack and Loot

| Key | Description |
| - | - |
| Hunt Attack | Your attack. Pick your **Job**, **Attack**, and **Weapon**. |
| Pick Up | Your loot key. Required for looting. |

## Maps

### Creating Maps

Stand on the map and click **+ Add \<map name>**. To add a map you're not on, click **+ Add other map** and search by name, area, or ID.

If the button shows **Map not recognized** or **No Minimap Detected**, expand the minimap and check your [capture](https://mania.bot/docs/capture.md).

### Hunting Areas

Double-click a map to open the Map Editor. **Left click or drag** over platforms to hunt them, and **right click** to clear. With nothing picked, every platform with mob spawns is hunted.

### Walking to Your Map

Starting the bot with a map selected walks your character to that map. Turn on **Settings → General → Auto Revive** to also revive in town and walk back after a death. A second death within 3 minutes stops the bot.

## Troubleshooting

| Message | What to do |

| Cannot hunt: no hunt attack set | Set **Hunt Attack** in [Keybinds](#attack-and-loot). |
| Hunting stopped: player not found or view not matched | Check your [capture](https://mania.bot/docs/capture.md) and resolution. |
