Disable Windows Security
Disable Windows Security real-time protection before downloading.Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Turn off Real-time protection.

Download
Download MANIA from mania.bot.If your browser blocks the download, click Keep anyway.

Place in hidden folder
Move the file to a hidden folder with an inconspicuous name.Avoid names like “bot”, “mania”, or “maplestory” in the path.

Add antivirus exclusion
Add the folder to your antivirus exclusions before re-enabling protection.Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add an exclusion → Select the folder.
Apple Silicon and macOS 14+ only — MANIA does not run on Intel-based Macs or older macOS versions. You need an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer.Check both at Apple Menu → About This Mac:
Chip: should say Apple M1 or similar, not Intel
macOS: should be 14+

Download
Download MANIA from mania.bot.If Apple blocks the app:
Open Apple Menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security (scroll down in the sidebar).
Under Security, click Open Anyway, then confirm Open Anyway on the pop-up.

Grant permissions
You may see pop-ups asking to:
Receive keystrokes from any application
Control this computer using accessibility features
Record this computer’s screen and audio
Click Open System Settings on each pop-up and enable the requested permission. Restart the app after granting them.
If the prompts don’t appear, grant them manually in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
