MapleStory Bot Server Support: Every Region & Private Server

By the MANIA Team · Last updated

Why Server Support Matters

Most MapleStory bots are built using memory injection — they read and write directly to the game client's memory to control characters and detect game state. The problem: each regional MapleStory client (GMS, KMS, MSEA, JMS, TMS) has different memory layouts, anti-cheat implementations, and UI structures. When Nexon pushes an update to one region, the memory addresses shift and the bot breaks — often only for that specific region.

This means memory-based bots must maintain separate builds for each server, reverse-engineer each client update independently, and often leave non-primary regions unsupported for days or weeks after a patch. Players on smaller regions like JMS or TMS frequently wait the longest for compatibility fixes.

MANIA avoids this entirely. By using screen analysis — reading pixel data from the game window rather than injecting into the client — MANIA is inherently server-agnostic. The same binary works on every MapleStory client in every region without modification.

GMS (Global MapleStory)

GMS is the largest English-speaking MapleStory region, covering North America, Europe, and Oceania. It's the primary target for most MapleStory bots, and where the majority of the botting community is active. MANIA fully supports all GMS worlds — both Reboot and Regular (non-Reboot) servers.

Every MANIA feature works on GMS: automated farming with human-like movement, ML-powered rune solving (all 9 types including spinning), AI lie detector solving, auto dailies (Commerci, Monster Park, Arcane/Sacred Force), smart cubing, familiar automation, and HyperTP instant navigation.

While many bots support GMS and only GMS, MANIA gives GMS players the same feature set available on every other server — no compromises regardless of which world or channel you play on.

KMS (Korea MapleStory)

KMS is MapleStory's home region and typically receives game updates weeks or months before other servers. This creates a challenge for memory-based bots: KMS patches shift memory addresses first, and developers must reverse-engineer the new client before the bot works again. MANIA's screen-based approach means updates to the KMS client don't affect bot functionality — the bot reads the screen regardless of underlying client changes.

MANIA's UI is fully available in Korean, so KMS players can configure and monitor the bot in their native language. All 12+ automation systems work identically on KMS — no separate KMS build, no delayed compatibility, no feature gaps.

For KMS players who have struggled with bots that only support GMS or take weeks to update after KMS patches, MANIA's server-agnostic architecture eliminates the wait entirely.

MSEA (MapleStory Southeast Asia)

MSEA serves players primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. It has a dedicated playerbase and features region-exclusive events, cash shop items, and collaboration content that other servers don't get. MSEA's client has its own anti-cheat configuration and UI elements that differ subtly from GMS.

MANIA handles all of these differences through screen analysis — the bot recognizes UI elements visually rather than relying on memory offsets, so MSEA-specific content, event UIs, and client differences are handled automatically without any configuration.

MSEA players can use MANIA in English, Thai, or Vietnamese depending on their preference, with all features working identically to GMS and KMS.

JMS (Japan MapleStory)

JMS has a loyal playerbase and features exclusive content including Japan-only collaborations, unique classes, and region-specific events. JMS's client uses Japanese text throughout its UI, which breaks bots that rely on text recognition tuned for English.

MANIA's screen analysis doesn't depend on reading text — it identifies game elements through visual patterns. MANIA's UI is available in Japanese, giving JMS players a native-language experience for bot configuration and monitoring. All features work without modification on JMS.

TMS (Taiwan MapleStory)

TMS serves the Taiwanese playerbase with Traditional Chinese UI and region-specific content. TMS shares its content pipeline with CMS (China MapleStory) but runs as a separate client with its own patch schedule and anti-cheat. This means memory-based bots that work on CMS won't necessarily work on TMS.

MANIA supports TMS with full feature parity. The bot's Chinese language UI support means TMS players can use MANIA in their preferred language. Screen-based analysis ensures compatibility regardless of TMS-specific client differences.

MapleStory Classic World

Classic World is Nexon's official pre-Big Bang recreation — a permanent server that brings back the original MapleStory experience with classic gameplay mechanics, slower progression, and the original Explorer classes. Led by original designer Nemi, Classic World is Nexon's answer to the massive demand for old-school MapleStory.

MANIA fully supports Classic World. Because the bot uses screen analysis rather than memory injection, it works on Classic World's client the same way it works on any other official server — no separate build or configuration required.

MapleStory N

MapleStory N is Nexon's cross-platform MapleStory title available on PC and mobile. It features a modernized client with updated graphics and UI while retaining the core MapleStory gameplay loop.

MANIA supports MapleStory N on PC. The bot's screen-based approach adapts to MapleStory N's updated UI automatically — the same screen analysis that works on GMS and KMS works on MapleStory N without modification.

Private Servers

MapleStory private servers run on older or modified client versions, each with unique memory layouts that make memory-injection bots incompatible without per-server customization. MANIA's screen-based approach works on any client version — from classic v62 servers to modern forks. Here are the most popular active servers, all fully compatible with MANIA:

MapleRoyals (v62, Classic Pre-Big Bang)

One of the largest and longest-running private servers. No pay-to-win, focused on nostalgic party quest gameplay with consistently high player counts and an established community.

MapleLegends (v62, Classic Pre-Big Bang)

Zero pay-to-win with modern quality-of-life improvements layered on top of the classic v62 experience. Over 8 years of active development with strong community moderation.

Artale (Pre-Big Bang, MapleStory Worlds)

A classic MapleStory recreation built on Nexon's official MapleStory Worlds platform. Recreates the early 2000s experience with original maps, skills, and UI, plus custom features like storage sharing and class rebalancing.

ChronoStory (Pre-Big Bang, MapleStory Worlds)

Another MapleStory Worlds server painstakingly rebuilding the pre-Big Bang era with custom 4th job skills, class rebalancing, and community-driven development.

Old School Maple (Classic Era)

A classic-era private server focused on delivering the original MapleStory experience with faithful recreation of early game mechanics and content.

Timeless (v83, Pre-Big Bang)

Launched in late 2025 with progressive EXP rates, no HP washing, and a structured progression system. Active GMs and a community-focused design with party play emphasis.

KaizenMS (v92, Pre-Big Bang)

Built on v92 — often considered the best pre-Big Bang version — with functional Dual Blade, quality-of-life enhancements, and no multi-client restrictions.

BeyondMS (v83, Pre-Big Bang)

High-rate v83 server with a rebirth system, stackable skills, and persistent buffs. Designed for fast progression without HP washing.

AriesMS (v263, Modern)

Up-to-date with current GMS content, featuring enhanced progression rates and improved meso farming diversity through bosses, party quests, and Mulung Dojo.

EsferaMS (v263, Modern)

Semi-custom modern server with custom progression systems, regular updates and events, and a focus on rewarding gameplay across multiple content areas.

ElunaMS (v256+, Modern)

Modern server featuring 6th job content, all bosses up to Extreme Kaling, and global channels across NA, EU, SEA, and OCE for low-ping play worldwide.

Ranmelle (v405, Modern)

High-rate modern server designed for maximum player freedom. Features a rebirth system at level 300, unlimited boss entries, and fast progression without harsh restrictions.

This is not an exhaustive list — MANIA works on any MapleStory private server regardless of version (v62, v83, v92, v200+, or modern forks). If the server runs a MapleStory client with a visible game window, MANIA's screen analysis will work on it.

How MANIA's Server-Agnostic Approach Works

MANIA uses external screen analysis instead of memory injection. The bot captures frames from the game window and uses machine learning models to understand game state — detecting runes, reading HP/MP bars, identifying monsters, recognizing UI elements, and tracking character position. All inputs are sent through hardware-level keyboard and mouse events, identical to a real player. Unlike memory-based bots that are tightly coupled to a specific client binary, MANIA never touches the game's process.

Because of this, it doesn't matter what client version is running, what region the server is in, or what anti-cheat the server uses. The same MANIA binary works on GMS, KMS, MSEA, JMS, TMS, CMS, Classic World, MapleStory N, and any private server — no separate builds, no per-region configuration, no waiting for compatibility patches after game updates.
